4th of July Events

Friday Night Concerts on the Square-
June 4 through August 20, 2010

Concerts are held at the Blue Ash Towne Square, corner of Hunt & Cooper Roads
8PM to 11PM (get there early to be most effective!) 
Note:  They do not want us circulating during the music.

Northside's Rock 'n' Roll Carnival
When: July 2-3
Where: Hoffner Park, Northside

Two nights of music - already announced: You, You're Awesome, The Sundresses, Brian Olive and Daniel Martin Moore - and one big parade (after a pancake breakfast) happen a day early this year since July 4 is a Sunday. There's also a beer garden, carnival fun (fire breathers, maybe a drag show) and plenty of food.

Pride Parade and Festival
When: July 2-4
Where: Fountain Square, Downtown

The annual Pride Parade moves Downtown this year with a three-day festival surrounding it. It kicks off with a happy hour and pub crawl on Friday, the free Funzone on Fountain Square on Saturday, parties that evening and the Equinox Ball at the Duke Energy Center that night. The parade starts at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Glier's Goettafest
When: Aug. 6-8
Where: Newport Riverfront

Games, grub, a new and improved goetta vending machine and plenty of free entertainment combine in a giant celebration from the biggest maker of everyone's favorite oat-infused pork product.

Great Inland Seafood Festival
When: Aug. 12-15
Where: Newport Riverfront

Seafood dishes from restaurants around the region and 10,000 live Maine lobsters make this the closest you can feel to an ocean without some serious travel time.

Brew Ha-Ha Comedy Festival
When: Aug. 27-28
Where: Sawyer Point, Downtown

More than 50 comedians will again fill three stages. Samples of 80 beers will be available for a $1 ticket, with four tickets equalling a full serving of beer.

Cincy Soulfest
When: Aug. 28
Where: Hamilton County Fairgrounds

Delayed from June, this event is scheduled to include Toni Tony Tone and a tribute to Gerald and Sean Levert. There also promises to be plenty of food. Advance tickets are $35.
