Request for Donations
Dear Cincinnati 912 Project Members,
This is a hard email for me to write. The reason is that I’m writing to ask that you support the Cincinnati 912 Project – financially. I know well how tough things are for many of you given the depressed economy. I myself was recently laid off, so I’m getting first-hand experience with just how difficult things are.
Why, then, am I now requesting your help?
The reason is that the Cincinnati 912 Project is doing the work it requires to inform as many Americans as possible about the ideas and principles that comprise the foundation of this unique country. Educating our fellow citizens is, in our estimation, the only long-term way to change the course we are on as a nation. If Americans know and understand the true history of our founding and the true meaning of our founding documents, they will stand up to the forces that are “fundamentally transforming” the fabric of our republic into a centralized system in which the government is the ultimate power and the individual citizen’s right of self-determination is severely limited.
As you probably know, certain 912 members are regularly offering lectures on the Constitution and on other topics of historical and civic importance. The Cincinnati 912 Project has also organized events such as the Sheriff Mack “No Sheriff Left Behind” lecture, and the National Center for Constitutional Studies’ Making of America seminar. These efforts and future efforts of this type require financial resources.
Since you are a member of this organization, you probably feel very strongly that Americans must rediscover their roots and use the knowledge they acquire to fight for the preservation of our unalienable rights. This weekend, I attended the Restoring Honor Rally in Washington DC with my wife, and two oldest kids, ages 5 and 4. Reflecting on the experience, I find myself still marveling at what I witnessed, how it changed me, and how it continues to affect me. The entire weekend experience was nothing short of profound for me, and the true meaning of it all continues to reveal itself. It is for this reason that I cannot say definitively what I was to take away from the events of the weekend, though I will try to relate my current understanding.
It is with no reservation that I can say that my children were the most significant part of the event for me. This is not to diminish in any way the role that God played in the weekend as it unfolded. To be certain, God was their at every step of the way. Returning to God is certainly imperative to the survival of this country – indeed it is the only way. For me, God has found an easy way of revealing himself to me through my children ever since they were born. And so it was no coincidence that we brought them: surely if we were going to be joining with thousands of our fellow citizens in a massive appeal to God for mercy, forgiveness, and restoration, I would need them with me. At their age they are really too young to understand much about the historic event of which they were a part. But they took it all in with excitement, confusion, and yes, even some boredom (they are children after all). But there were several moments over the weekend where I knew without a doubt why I was there and what my purpose was and continues to be. As I held my daughter in my arms, she excitedly waved a little American flag as the event opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem, and I was simultaneously saddened, embarrassed, resolved and renewed. I was saddened and embarrassed at the realization of what we have done to this great Nation, how our easy life was purchased on credit that she and her children will most certainly be responsible to repay with their liberty. I was embarrassed that generations from my parents to mine had not only driven this Nation to the brink of economic and moral collapse, but that many continue to do so without apology.
But as I looked at her as she gazed in awe at the crowd of people around her, I found I was renewed with a different kind of strength and resolve. The answer was right there in my arms – my daughter, and there in my wife’s arms – my son.
It is often said that the measure of the success of a generation is whether they left the next generation with a “better life” than what they had. And “better” typically meant an “easier” life. But American history refutes this entirely. The Greatest Generation is not considered “the greatest” because their kids didn’t have to work or fight as hard as they did. They are the Greatest Generation because of HOW HARD THEY FOUGHT and WORKED. The prosperity enjoyed by subsequent generations was not the aim, it was the byproduct of the aim. The Greatest Generation was great because they directly confronted evil in their time. And so it is with generations before them, who fought to preserve the Nation and liberate slaves, and before them the Founders, who fought for Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We have somehow come to confuse our most sacred principles with the fruits they bear. Individual liberty may lead to a life of wealth and convenience, but make no mistake that liberty must always be the aim, or none shall be achieved.
And so I have come to realize that my responsibility is not to ensure my kids have a “better life” – it’s my responsibility that they understand what it is to have a life worthy of the Almighty’s gifts and that they are dedicated to defending it. We have strayed far from the path, and have a long journey to make it back. It will likely take beyond my generation to restore this Nation to its rightful legacy. If the Restoring Honor Event taught us anything, we have to know that this is much bigger than an election in November of 2010 or 2012. We must reclaim this legacy for our children and realize that this will not likely happen within our lifetime. This means we need to be preparing our children NOW to carry this sacred struggle forward – this will be our legacy. And it is with a new found inspiration and understanding that it is not my purpose to provide my children with the promise of a “better life” than I had – I am now resolved that my purpose is to raise a better American than I have been.

War Against our Constitution
Before the calendar this year turned to 2010, I couldn’t have told anybody much about the 10th Amendment. The Tenth Amendment states clearly, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
That essentially means that the States are to govern themselves in most every circumstance, and beyond that, to the people specifically.

This video shows exactly why our school systems are broken and is being shown to classrooms across the country using our tax dollars to do it.
In the very fine book A Patriots History of the United States it is easy to see that when the Cold War started between the United States and the Soviet Union, the Soviet’s spent a great deal of effort through espionage to infiltrate the American way of life. They did this through their spy network and specifically through propaganda. This has given rise to the Communist Party of America, and other organizations that use the protection of the First Amendment to attack the very Constitution which built the principles of the United States in the first place.
Hind-sight shows it is apparent that the cold war strategies of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, all the way up to the 80’s have had their affect. The American family was collapsed starting with our public education system where traditional roles were question, men marginalized, and women encouraged to take on different social roles. It didn’t happen quickly, but over a 40 year span with the most radical developments occurring during the 1960’s.
And at the center of that propaganda strategy was public education, as a way to change the way we see American life.
So for those who proudly proclaim that their child must have certain grades in a high school so they can go to college and be taught by a college system that is very friendly to socialist principles, consider that you are participating in a system initiated through war, to allow the spread of the Communist Soviet Union to defeat their arch rival, The United States.
So as the levy issues come up for your local school systems, consider not what the cost to your home value will be if the levy fails. Consider what the money is spent on, and the over-all damage to our culture as a result.

Shoring up jobs for tax consumers
Representative Boehner:
Good news, Congress returns from their taxpayer funded paid vacations to shore up jobs for other public sector tax consumers.
In the meantime taxpayers scramble to keep their present jobs or find replacement jobs, even at reduced payment. Not only must taxpayers feed themselves, they must feed the ravenous government beast, even as it swaddles itself in luxury at home and abroad.
Bizarro World is alive and well in the 111th Congress and the Obama Administration.

To my fellow Central Ohio 9-12 Patriots – As you may have heard, the president will be in Columbus next month to campaign for Gov. Strickland. On our meetup.com site, one of our members posted this information as well. Our member asked…”does anyone care?” This question, quite frankly, chilled me to the bone. Do we care?
We’re all tired and want to go back to our normal lives before all of this started. THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT AND WHAT THEY ARE HOPING TO DO TO US. Please realize that we are “getting in their heads.” All you have to do is look at the amount and intensity of the attacks on us and our movement. We have done so much in such little time. This is no time to let up or give up.

The Consequences of One Party Rule
Not content with further increasing confiscatory taxes and obligating each and every citizen to their $47,000 share of the $14 Trillion National Debt Congress created, the 111th Congress and Barack Obama now seek to confiscate two years of each Citizen’s life through HR 5741, the Universal National Service Act.
What is the purpose of the Universal National Service Act? “To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes.
HR 5741 Section 105 (c) To the extent determined appropriate by the President, the President may use for purposes of this title the procedures provided in the Military Selective Service Act (50 U.S.C. App. 451 et seq.), including procedures for registration, selection, and induction.
The 111th Congress is blatantly showing its definition of “Serving the Public” which is to serve the public as on a platter rather than to as a servant of public.
Clean House in 2010? I certainly hope so, along with 1/3 of the Senate. Then continue the cleaning in 2012 and 2014.

Dear Senator (Senator Name):
The Executive and Legislative branches of our government have been taken over by a coalition whose goal is a fundamental remaking of our country. Our only remaining check and balance is the Supreme Court. The U. S. Constitution was written to protect the rights of American citizens and limit the powers of government. The duty of the Supreme Court is to apply the law as written; not to change the law to fit political or social objectives.
Article 5 of the Constitution provides the amendment process as the method for making any changes the people deem necessary. Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution grants to the legislature the power to “create all laws”. Article 6 of the Constitution states that judges shall be bound by the Constitution and the laws of the United States. It does not allow for any court, including the Supreme Court, to ignore or otherwise pervert the law of the land according to the political beliefs of the judge.
Elena Kagan is a political ideologue with zero judicial experience. Her past actions indicate that she will become an activist judge to change the laws of our country based on international law and social objectives. Her record makes it clear that she will vote to eliminate free speech, limit Second Amendment freedoms, remove limits on the powers of government, and take away any other individual rights of U. S. citizens that interfere with her personal perception of the “greater good”.
Elena Kagan is not fit to serve as a U. S. Supreme Court Justice and is a threat to the only remaining check against unlimited government expansion.
Please push your fellow senators to stand up for the Constitution of the United States and the rights of citizens. Filibuster the confirmation of Kagan to prevent this destruction of the rule of law upon which this nation is based.
